It all started when I was about 12. A Kodak Pony 135mm camera, rolls of Tri-X and a unit of elite G.I. Joe Commandos. Countless hours spent creating intricate setups using trees, twigs, rocks, flashbulbs to simulate explosions, twists of wire to position the soldiers just so; all for just the right look. Barbie didn't stand a chance! I guess dreaming up and creating images has always been a passion and probably explains why I do what I do. I enjoy the challenge of finding the extraordinary in the ordinary. I search for the light, color and angles; the vital elements that define and separate my images.

14 years of professional experience shooting for regional and national clients. Traveling from one end of the country to the other working for diverse clients like Sun Microsystems, Potlatch, Nordstrom, FPL Energy, Microsoft, BASF and more.

I have hung out of helicopters at sunset, climbed 10,000-foot tall peaks just to capture the image that I see in my head. I comfortably work in whatever medium is best for the client, digital or film, 4 x 5 or a pinhole camera. You can count on me to deliver great photography, vision and creativity. And yes, I still find the time to set up a forward command post with my 6-year-old son.
